What can you come up with? Looking for humorous way to tell our parents we're expecting?

We have thought about bringing our mothers a bouquet of "baby's" breath. Can anyone think of something more fun?

What can you come up with? Looking for humorous way to tell our parents we're expecting?
Give them a Valentine's Day card for grandparents.
Reply:I read this from someone else, so I can't take credit, but I thought this was cute.....when they come over or you go over there, take them to see your car and have the car seat in the back....see how long it takes them to notice....here is a link to someone who asked and the answers that were given to this same question around christmas time:

I also like the idea of framing an ultasound picture for them.

Congratulations BTW
Reply:Invite them over for dinner and make everything baby style!
Reply:Well....if this is your first...you can do a take off on that Mastercard commercial with the guy who gives his wife a new car. He gave her a box of tissues....a brown paper bag....and while they are unwrapping each gift...either you or your hubby (depending on who's mom it is) read a card that says "tissues....$1.06....a paper bag....$.30....giving your mother a grandchild...priceless" and either wrap a pregnancy test...or a keychain that says Grandma or something like that.

Good luck and congrats.
Reply:Buy a diary for them and write in it each Saturday night "babysitting for our new baby".
Reply:Wear a t-shirt to their house that says on the front "Under Construction" and has an arrow pointing to your belly. They'll get it... after a while.
Reply:When we told our parents, we had bought some picture frames with sayings like "Grandma's Little Angel" or Grandma's Little Sunshine" on them then wrapped them and gave them to our parents as gifts.

For our second little one we announced it on our first daughter's birthday by giving her a t-shirt that said on the front "Big Sister..." and on the back it said "...in training!"
Reply:Congratulations!!!

You can special order pink and blue M%26amp;M's and have and "baby makes three" put on them. give each set of parents a package.

Buy a picture frame for granparents and put a note which says under construction or pic availabel (due date) or take a digital picture of the pregnancy test and put them in the frame. Wrap and give them for Valentines...if you can wait that long. :)

Or buy bibs they say 'I love Grandma' and 'I love Grandpa' - again wrap and give for Valentines.

And lastly take them out to dinner and have a cake delivered to the table that says congratulations Gram and Pop . Of course you have to set this up earlier in the day.

Hope this helps! :)
Reply:Say "I've got a bun in the oven"
Reply:Make them a nice dinner of baby carrots, baby corn ears, and baby back ribs. Oh, and ya gotta have buns! Put that bouquet of baby's breath in the middle of the table. Maybe even get some baby bottles to replace the glasses if they still don't get it. LOL

Congrats on your new little one!
Reply:My husband and I are actaully telling his parents tomorrow... it will be a big deal to them as this will make them grandma and grandpa for the first time and there hasn't been a baby on that side of the family for 17 years! It is his dad's birthday tomorrow, so we wrapped up a tshirt as a gift..when he opens it and it reads, "I am going to be a grandpa!" they'll know (and cry!) We are having a birthday lunch for him 2 days later with the whole family, we'll ask him to wear the shirt and he'll be the one announcing!
