Why do they call it Baby's Breath?

I have to do research on this for a class, but I can't find the answer.

I've tried Wikipedia, Ask.com and Google with no results.

I even checked the encyclopedia, dictionary and thesaurus!

Please Help!

Why do they call it Baby's Breath?
Baby's breath is the name of a flower (or types of flower). All flowers have a meaning and baby's breath means innocence, because a baby's breathe is said to be the purest breath of all. The flowers are so called because of their light baby-like colours. In days of yore, the type of flower you were given had a meaning, such as red rose for love and devotion. Even today we associate red roses with romance.
